The Duchess of Cornwall hosted a reception at Clarence House on Tuesday where she emphasised that attendees were "marking rather than celebrating" the 50th anniversary of domestic abuse charity Refuge. She highlighted how "different" life was for women in 1971 but that all those working in the field are still looking forward to the day when their "service is no longer needed".
