Camp for Displaced Syrians Flooded by Drenching Rains

Torrential rain flooded a temporary camp in Syria’s northern Hasaka province for people displaced from Deir Ezzor countryside, according to a local report published on December 5.

This footage shows significant flooding around dozens of tents in Aresha camp in Hasaka province.

The heavy rainfalls increased the water storage in a nearby dam on Khabour river in Hasaka countryside which caused the flooding in the camp, other reports said. Credit: Mohammed Hassan via Storyful
