Canadian Mounties Gave The Best Reply After Accidentally Being Invited To A Freshers’ Party On Facebook

Canadian Mounties gave a hilarious tongue-in-cheek response after they were accidentally invited to an underage freshers’ party via Facebook.

Bungling students in Lumsden, Saskatchewan, mistakenly shared details of their upcoming shindig with the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) on Friday.

Instead of just ignoring the invite, however, officers actually politely accepted with a status update on their own page.

They said they’d even be happy to bring along some “chips and salsa.”

But they warned that there’d also be a “choice of possible charges for the party goers.”

And they detailed exactly what each fresher attending the so-called “frosh” party could be facing.

Those found with open liquor would be slapped with a $250 fine, underage drinkers would be ordered to cough up $360 and littering would cost them $250.

Anyone giving booze to minors would be fined $1,050, it added.

“Or you can make the smart choice and avoid meeting our officers! Stay safe. ^mm,” the update added.

The post soon went viral, and has now been shared more than 3,300 times and got 7,000 likes.
