Canadian president Justin Trudeau wants a rematch with Friends star Matthew Perry after their previous playground squabble.
Perry recently revealed he beat up the Canadian Prime Minister during their school days – and now Trudeau wants revenge.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last month, Perry revealed the pair got into a fight when they were 10 years old, after crossing paths at Rockcliffe Park Public School in Ottawa in Canada.
"I have a story about [Trudeau] I'm not proud of," Perry said. "My friend Chris Murray, who was also in the fifth grade in Canada, reminded me that we actually beat up Justin Trudeau. We both beat him up.
"I think he was excelling in a sport. He was the only kid in school that we could beat up."
After almost a month of silence, Trudeau has now hit back. On Saturday (April 1), the Canadian PM said he is keen for round two, and proposed the idea of a rematch.
However, bearing in mind it was April Fools' Day, we'd take this reply with a hefty dose of salt.
I've been giving it some thought, and you know what, who hasn't wanted to punch Chandler? How about a rematch @MatthewPerry?- Justin Trudeau (@JustinTrudeau) April 1, 2017
"I've been giving it some thought, and you know what, who hasn't wanted to punch Chandler?" he tweeted. "How about a rematch?"
Running scared, Perry declined the request – given the PM literally has an entire army behind him.
"I think I will pass at your request for a rematch kind sir (given that you currently have an army at your disposal)," he wrote.
