The family of an eight-year-old cancer sufferer believe she was spat on by a group of teenagers because her head was shaved.

The girl and her family were leaving the Thorpe Park theme park in Chertsey, Surrey, when four boys aged around 17 began spitting on them from overhead.

CCTV footage captured the group and police hope that witnesses, or friends and family who recognise the gang, will come forward.

A spokesman from Surrey Police told Yahoo News UK: "The parents were concerned that their eight-year-old daughter had been deliberately targeted because she has a shaved head due to cancer treatment."
