Candy Land-Inspired Light Display Transforms Texas Home Into Festive Haven

A house in Texas was transformed into every Christmas lover’s dream, thanks to an elaborate light display inspired by the board game Candy Land.

Footage by Brandon Lee Brown shows his Wichita Falls yard decked out in the festive display, which he began back in 2015.

“Been doing Christmas lights all my life. We wanted something we could expand on over the years. My wife’s favorite game as a kid was Candy Land, so we went with it,” Brown told Storyful.

“Currently I have 40 cutouts, 170,768 lights, 476 [squares for the] custom-made light-up pathway, two 34-foot mega trees, and a 16-foot-tall, 50-foot-wide castle,” he said. Credit: Brandon Lee Brown via Storyful
