Cannes 2019: Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio lead film festival's best dressed men in matching tuxedos
Although most eyes immediately turn to the haute couture gowns at Cannes Film Festival, the dapper gents also deserve our attention.
With its strict smart dress code, men have been suited and booted to the max, no more so than the power appearance from Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio on Tuesday evening.
The actors attended the screening of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood twinning in matching tuxedos and bow-ties.
DiCaprio chose a smart Giorgio Armani number, whilst Pitt cut a more nonchalant figure with his Brioni jacket undone, which he accessorised with sunglasses.
Earlier at the film festival, for the screening of the Elton John-inspired film Rocketman, actor Taron Egerton put his own spin on black-tie by wearing a statement grey velvet blazer by Tom Ford. He was joined by The Bodyguard star Richard Madden, who looked fresh in a white blazer, which was contrasted with a neat black bow-tie.
Sir Elton John, however, stole the show.
The 72-year-old, known for his quirky style, wore a custom rocket-inspired tuxedo by Gucci. The black jacket had a rocket adorned on the collar and "Rocketman" in silver sequins embellished on the back.
He accessorised the look with limited edition tinted heart frames, also by the Italian fashion house.
Elsewhere, Luke Sabbat and Adam Driver pulled off polished appearances at the screening of The Dead Don't Die, whilst 19-year-old Brooklyn Beckham made a suave Cannes debut with his girlfriend, Hana Cross.
