A-list actors have returned to the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. It’s the first major film festival to take place in person since the start of Covid. Timothee Chalamet, Tilda Swinton, Matt Damon and Jessica Chastain all premiered their upcoming films at the prestigious event. There was no social distancing on the red carpet and no face masks. But the no-kissing rule was widely ignored by the stars. The festival kicked off on July 6th with the musical drama ‘Annette’ receiving a five minute standing ovation after its screening. The film festival comes to an end on Saturday July 17th.
