Yahoo News Smartfood’s Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries Popcorn Mix Is Officially Hitting Shelves Next Week

The time is come to swap out your snack in favor of the new Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries Popcorn Mix from Smartfood. The new popcorn-cereal snack will be available for a limited time this summer.
Beginning on August 3, you’ll be able to get the sweet and salty snack nationwide, a PR rep confirmed to Best Products. It’s a mix of Smartfood air-popped popcorn tossed in sweet berry goodness and combined with real Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries.
The limited-edition treat will be available in 2-ounce ($1.89) and 6.25-ounce ($3.99) bags. We all know we’ll be going for that larger size as soon as we see that bright blue bag in the snack aisle!

Beginning in June 2020, you’ll be able to get Smartfood Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries Popcorn Mix (its official name) on shelves. The crunchy snacks bring sweet and salty flavors together, and we’re hoping this is one treat that will keep us coming back for more.

What do you get when mix sweet cereal and buttery popcorn? Your newest snack of choice, of course. Smartfood and The Quaker Oats Company have joined forces to create Cap’n Crunch Berries Popcorn Mix, and something tells us that we’ll be able to polish off one bag ourselves.
Instagram account @snacksfromaround first posted a picture of the sweet-salty treat, followed by @markie_devo and @candyhunting. The bag looks to consist of buttery popcorn and the berry pieces from Cap’n Crunch Berries cereal. We’re guessing that the best way to eat the treat is with a piece of popcorn and piece of cereal, so you get that flavor balance.
Cap’n Crunch Berries Popcorn Mix is expected to hit shelves in March 2020. We’ll let you know when we have concrete information on availability.
“Can’t wait to try it!” one person wrote on Instagram. “Oh wow how exciting!!!” wrote another. I think we speak for many snackers when we say that we have high hopes that this popcorn mix is going to make our taste buds explode.
