Trainers and jockeys gathered at Sonwabo Beach on Cape Town’s False Bay coast for a training session for horses entered into the 2022 Cape Town Met. The Met, as it’s known, is the biggest horse racing event in South Africa and the continent as a whole. The beach training session has become a big media event ahead of the annual race. This year’s race will he held on Saturday 29 January at Kenilworth Racecourse.
