Captain America star Chris Evans and actress Jenny Slate 'split for the second time'

Actor Chris Evans and actress Jenny Slate have reportedly split up for a second time.

The pair are thought to have recently called time on their on/off relationship yet again, according to an interview Evans did with the New York Times.

They had reunited towards the end of last year and were spotted house-hunting and spending the holidays together.

But the NYT profile claims: “Their on-again, off-again relationship, beloved by the Internet, recently ended.”

The new piece doesn’t have any other information about the former couple’s relationship such as when exactly they broke up and why.

Captain America star Evans, 36, met Slate on the set of Gifted back in 2016, dating for a year before they broke up.

They rekindled their romance a couple of months later but it appears to have ended for the second time.

In the past, Evans has dated Jessica Biel, Christina Ricci and Minka Kelly while Slate was married to Dean Fleischer-Camp until 2016.
