Car Bomb Rocks Turkish-Held Border Town in Syria

Casualties were reported following a car bomb that struck Tal Abyad by the Turkish border in northern Syria, on November 23.

Turkish-aligned forces had taken control of Tal Abyad in October.

The local council of the town said that nine people were killed and 20 others injured. They blamed the attack on Kurdish militant groups.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory of Human Rights said that at least five people had been killed in the blast.
