Car Caught in Floodwaters in Pittsburgh Suburb as Storm Ida Continues Trek North

A car was caught in several inches of floodwaters in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania – a suburb of Pittsburgh – footage posted to Facebook on September 1 shows, as the remnants of storm Ida continued to move across the northeast US.

The National Weather Service issued a flash-flood warning for the area on September 1, advising people to “move immediately to higher ground.”
