Car in China bounces off a manhole cover and into an electricity pole

A car in southern China flew into the air and collided with an electricity pole, after hitting an insecure manhole cover in the road. In the video, filmed by a witness named Mr Chen in Chengdu, Sichuan province, the white car flew into the air, travelling about four metres before hitting a roadside pole. According to Mr Chen, the white car’s tire somehow caught a manhole cover while moving, and the fast speed caused the car to bounce off it. Fortunately, the female driver of the white car was not injured. Later traffic police came to deal with accident. The video was filmed on December 18 and provided by local media with permission.
