A MAN has been arrested following a disturbance and car crash in Glasgow last night.

Cops were made aware of the disturbance on Shettleston Road shortly before 10pm.

A car crash then took place a short time later on Barrachnie Road, in Baillieston.

Police are treating the two incidents as "linked".

Ambulance crews were called to the scene of the crash.

A man, aged 43, has been arrested and charged. He is due to appear in court tomorrow.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance on Shettleston Road shortly before 10pm on Tuesday, March 21, and a subsequent crash involving a car on Barrachnie Road, which is being treated as linked.

“A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of offences.

"He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, March 23.”
