Police were called to the scene after a car mounted a verge outside a McDonald's in Trafford.

Pictures showed the red car mounted on the verge outside the drive-thru at the Barton Road branch this morning (Wednesday). A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers were called to reports of two-car crash.

It is believed the crash happened at the roundabout, close to the Trafford Retail Park. The car is believed to have mounted the verge after swerving off the road.

No injuries were reported in the crash, the GMP spokesperson added. The car is now awaiting recovery.
