Car flips outside homes in busy Birmingham estate
A driver was arrested after a car flipped over in a crash outside homes in a busy residential street. The car overturned in Swinford Road, Harborne, at around 5.15pm on Monday, January 20.
A man, the driver of the vehicle, was arrested at the scene. He was initially detained on a separate matter but, following further checks, was later released.
Paramedics said one ambulance attended the incident but that no-one was injured. Shocked residents were pictured staring at the overturned vehicle which landed near their homes.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Swinford Road, Harborne, at about 5.15pm on January 20 after being alerted by ambulance crew to a car on its side.
"Officers attended and the driver, who had remained at the scene, was treated by paramedics for injuries not believed to be serious. He was initially detained on a separate matter but following further checks he was de-arrested."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance added: "We were called to reports of a collision on Swinford Road on January 20. One ambulance attended but no-one was injured."
