Car lands on side after crash in Exeter

Police and paramedics were called to an Exeter street on Sunday afternoon after a collision blocked the road.

Residents in the area of Hamlin Lane contacted the authorities following the incident at around 4pm on Sunday September 15 when a grey VW was in collision with another vehicle and came to rest in the middle of the street on the driver's side.

One resident of the street told DevonLive the VW clipped a parked car before losing control and landing on its side.

The Hamlin Lane resident said police were on the scene quickly and the car was removed by 5pm. Devon and Cornwall Police have not responded to calls from DevonLive.
