Car ploughs into house and vehicles sparking road cordon and 999 response
A car ploughed into a house and several vehicles on a Middlesbrough street.
Crowds gathered in Parliament Road on Friday evening as emergency services dealt with the incident which happened around 7.30pm, which included cordoning off one of the streets.
Witnesses said the car hit the wall of a house and four or five other cars. Photographs taken on the scene show a number of police cars and a police van in attendance, including Cleveland Police's Matrix team.

Several cars suffered damage during the incident, including a taxi and the wall at the front of the terraced house was damaged including the under the bay window.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Fire Brigade said they were called to the scene at 7.35pm and remained in a protective capacity until the gas board arrived. They said no-one was trapped and the house didn't appear to suffer structural damage.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "A BMW 5 series and Nissan Note were involved in the collision. A number of other parked vehicles were also damaged as a result of the collision and a property was assessed for damage which was deemed to be superficial.
"Two passengers from the BMW were taken to James Cook University Hospital as a precaution and were later released following treatment. The 67-year-old driver of the Nissan was issued a Traffic Offence Report for driving without due care and attention.
"A 25-year-old man, the driver of the BMW, was reported for summons for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance."
