A vehicle has taken a dramatic tumble off the edge of a car park in Cornwall, landing amidst the rocks on the beach below. The incident occurred earlier today (Friday, November 22) at Marazion short stay car park, which offers views over the adjacent beach.

Images from the scene reveal the blue car having breached the wall's barrier. An eyewitness recounted to CornwallLive how the car broke through the barrier, with the driver subsequently being rescued by emergency services and transported to hospital.

"The car was facing the sea and went through the barrier and down the cliff. Police were there and an ambulance, maybe two, and two fire engines," the witness detailed. "Paramedics and the fire brigade got the driver out and he was conveyed to hospital by land ambulance. The air ambulance was on the way but they stood it down."
