Car sets on fire in Stourbridge
FIRE crews were called to the rescue after a car set on fire in Stourbridge this morning (Friday December 2).
Luckily no-one was hurt in the incident which happened just after 9.15am in Ham Lane, Pedmore.
The fire is believed to have started in the engine compartment of the vehicle.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said of the drama: “A crew from Stourbridge fire station responded at 9.16am on Friday December 2 to a vehicle on fire in Ham Lane.
“It started in the engine compartment. Fortunately, no-one was hurt.
“The fire was extinguished with a hose reel by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, before they left the scene at around 10.45am.”
The incident saw the road closed briefly but it has since reopened.
