Car smashes into parked cars on West Bromwich street
A car crashed into two parked cars on a Black Country residential street. The collision happened on Walsall Road in West Bromwich shortly after 4.50am today on Wednesday (October 16).
A man received pre-cautionary checks from paramedics. Around five firefighters were sent to the scene from West Bromwich fire station, while officers from West Midlands Police were in attendance. Residents reported hearing sirens early this morning while the road was blocked off.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service said: "Shortly after 4.50am on Wednesday (16 October), we responded to Walsall Road, West Bromwich. A fire engine from West Bromwich fire station responded, arriving within three minutes of being mobilised.

"This was a collision between a moving car and two parked cars. One man received a precautionary check-up from paramedics. Police colleagues were also in attendance. Crews made the vehicle safe and left the scene at 5.10am."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We are not able to respond to media enquiries about minor collisions."
