Car wrecked after crash involving vintage steam engine on Somerset road
A woman was taken to hospital after a serious crash involving a car and a vintage steam engine. It happened on the A361 near Pilton late on Friday.
The road, near to the entrance to the Glastonbury Festival, was closed while emergency services attended the scene shortly after 10pm. The car was wrecked and ended up in a hedge. The engine, which is understood to have been on the northbound carriageway, came to a stop on the road.
A woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving and later bailed pending further enquiries. She was later discharged from hospital.

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed they were called to the scene. A spokesperson said: "We were called at 10.04pm to a report of a collision between a car and a vintage goods vehicle on the A361 near Pilton.
"Officers attended and arrested a woman on suspicion of driving while unfit through alcohol. She was taken to hospital as a precaution and later discharged.
"The woman has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue. If you witnessed the collision or have any information which could help our investigation, please call 101 and quote reference 5224255856."
