The Suicide Squad are getting back together for a sequel, but one star who won't be joining them is Cara Delevingne.

In the first movie, the actress played archaeologist June Moone – who became the Enchantress, the main baddie that the anti-heroes had to take down.

The Enchantress was vanquished by the end of the DC film, and June lived. But that doesn't mean fans will see the character again in the follow-up.

Delevingne dismissed any hope of her returning in the role, saying that she was "pretty sure" she was done.

"It was a life-changing experience, and of course I'd do another one, but I don't think it would make sense for the character," she told USA Today.

"I'll probably still be on the set hanging out with everyone."

That's not necessarily bad news, though. Many critics of Suicide Squad (and there were a lot) were disappointed by The Enchantress – among various other things – in the movie, so maybe making the sequel radically different is a good way to distance itself from the flaws of the original.

Suicide Squad came out last year and also starred Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Karen Fukuhara.

Last year, Fukuhara expressed interest in exploring her character Katana's history in the future.

"I'd like to explore where she's from, what kind of training she comes from," she told ComicBook.com. "There's so much story from the point of her husband's death to her story leading up to Suicide Squad.

"That's something that I'd love to show on the screen."
