Cardi B set for Las Vegas residency at Palms Casino Resort

Cardi B has become the latest artist to announce a Las Vegas residency.

The Palms Casino Resort announced that the 26-year-old singer appear as part of their new club's launch.

Above and Beyond, G-EAZY, Kaskade and Skrillex are among the other muciscians who will have residencies at the new amphitheater-style complex, named KAOS.

According to Associate Press, KAOS is part of the resort's $690 million renovation plan, which includes a 360 degree DJ booth.

Cardi B joins a growing number of popular artists to land residencies in the city.

Lady Gaga has been playing a set of shows at Enigma, Cher will play the city next year, while the rapper Drake reportedly signed a $10 million deal to play a minimum of 10 shows at the Wynn Las Vegas’ XS Nightclub.

Cardi B has made headlines recently after berating the American government over the ongoing shutdown. She also defended her latest video, for the song "Twerk", after recieving complaints it did not empower women.

“It says to women that I can wear and not wear what ever I want. Do whatever I want and that NO still means NO," she wrote on Twitter.
