Cardiff City have announced their pre-season fixtures, including a match against their sister club KV Kortrijk, as well as a tour to Austria next month.

Erol Bulut took his players to the Algarve last year during his first summer in charge of the club, however this year he will head over to Austria between July 19 and July 26. Fixtures for that tour are to follow.

However, the club have confirmed four domestic pre-season games either side of that tour, starting with their first game against Kidderminster Harriers at Cardiff International Sports Campus in Leckwith on Wednesday, July 10, at 7.30pm.

That is followed by the clash against Belgian side Kortrijk, which is also owned by Vincent Tan and saw Cardiff players Isaak Davies, Ryotaro Tsunoda and Sheyi Ojo embark on year-long loan stints there.

Cardiff are hoping to further firm up those connections with the Belgian side by inviting them to the Welsh capital for a fixture. That game will also be played in Leckwith on Saturday, July 13.

The final game before City head off to Austria will be against Cymru Premier side Penybont FC, again in Leckwith, on Tuesday, July 16 at 7.30pm.

After the tour, Cardiff come back and play against Reading at Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday, July 31 at 7.30pm.
