Carol Vorderman’s Posh ‘Party Home’ On The Market For £2.6 Million

Television brainbox Carol Vorderman has put her lavish mansion, where she famously fell off her treadmill NAKED, on the market for £2.6 million – considerably more than the £1.1 million she paid nine years earlier.

The former Countdown star renamed the secluded Uplands home ‘Sloblock’ (an anagram of B*llocks) after adding the North Somerset property to her portfolio in 2007.

Carol, 55, then spent the next two years carrying out an extensive refurbishment of the 1970’s home, replacing all of the windows and adding features while combining modern architecture with minimalist design.

The TV presenter has hosted a number of large parties in the property – with Alan Carr and Gok Wan amongst the guests – but despite the happy memories, Carol has decided to move closer to her mother, and her adult children.

James McKillop, from UK & London estate agent Knight Frank, said of the place: “Sloblock Hall is a unique home in a peaceful sought after address which is just five miles from the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

“I think it is an attractive house in a great part of the world and regardless of the referendum I think there will be a lot of interest.”
