Love Island presenter Caroline Flack nearly missed filming for the start of the new series, thanks to an unexpected medical diagnosis.

The TV host took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (April 23) to reveal she's been diagnosed with a "wonky pelvis" – but luckily it can be cured with a "bum massage".

"I woke up this morning with an incredibly bad back," Caroline explained. "I went to an osteopath really early and they told me that I have a wonky pelvis, which was quite a revelation for a Tuesday!

"I then went to a physio who massaged my bum cheek for an hour which was rather nice and then I had a really lovely masseuse come to my house and massage my back."

Caroline said she then went to see her physio again before doing some hot yoga which made her "feel great".

"Thank you to everyone who helped me out today," she added. "I thought I wasn't going to be able to go to work tomorrow but with some firm hand action and some bum loving I can. Hurrah."

Caroline has since been teasing what's in store as she films the advert for the new series. While she couldn't give anything away, Caroline did say she's doing something "a bit different" from last year's airline pilot look.

Earlier in the week Caroline also informed fans that the new cast has been picked.

"By the end of the week I'm going to have potentially have seen the cast for this year, which is really exciting," Caroline said on her Instagram Stories.

"And mad that's it's come around this quick! So I'll let you know what happens. It's going to be a long, hot summer and all that."

Love Island will return to ITV2 in the summer.
