Caroline Flack's manager shares emotional video of her singing

Caroline Flack’s manager has shared a video of the late Love Island host singing along to one of her favourite songs.

On Thursday Nathan Smith, who formed part of Flack’s management team for four years, posted a series of clips to his Instagram Story in a touching tribute to his friend.

On Saturday, it was reported that the TV presenter had passed away at the age of 40, having taken her own life.

In one of the posts, Flack was being filmed while she sat in a makeup chair wearing a leopard print shirt and flip-flops.

As she smiles and sways back and forth, Flack begins miming the words to Rupert Holmes’ hit song "Escape", otherwise known as "The Piña Colada Song", as it plays in the background.

Smith, who is filming the star, laughs as Flack sings causing her to say turn to the camera and say: “You're laughing!” before pointing at him.

The touching clip also features Flack’s make-up artist and friend Gemma Wheatcroft in the background.

In a recent interview, Smith opened up about the “huge hole” that Flack’s passing had left in his heart, before recalling how much she enjoyed The Piña Colada Song.

“She LOVED that song,” Smith told the Mirror Online. “It was the song played as she arrived at her 40th birthday last year too.

“We'd always play it in the dressing room and she loved it so much that it was the theme tune for her 40th. She absolutely loved it.”

The video comes after singer Paloma Faith published a powerful statement about the representation of women in the media following Flack’s death.

In a short letter that she titled “Shut up and look Pretty”, the "Stone Cold Sober" singer urged people to “stop judging others” and compared the media’s treatment of Flack to that received by rapper Chris Brown.

“Every relationship is scrutinised, every outfit, every big night, every foot wrong (and yes she did put some feet wrong but I am of the opinion she had a bigger undiagnosed illness going on behind the scenes),” Faith wrote.

“Let us not forget that Chris Brown still managed to have a career after brutally attacking Rihanna but we don't allow our women and girls this freedom.

“No, if you are a woman with a successful career, with or without children, we expect you to suffer, to beg forgiveness for what you have achieved with your every move, not to have an opinion, not to show weakness or rage and to stay in your box.”
