Adele was the latest star to take part in one of James Corden’s celebrity duets, which could just be the best one yet…
During their car jam session, the singer revealed that the ‘Spice Girls’ had featured in a “really important moment” of her life.
She added: “It was girl power, and it was these five ordinary girls who did so well and got out.”
Before she became a global powerhouse performer, the 27-year old admitted that she used to cover ‘Spice Girls’ songs, pretending to be Geri Halliwell - if it was a singing-into-a-hairbrush situation then we can relate.
Victoria Beckham has since added to the hysteria amidst rumours of a potential ‘Spice Girls’ reunion by sharing a clip from the ‘Late Late Show’ segment, which features James and Adele singing their heart out to ‘Wannabe.’
The fashion designer captioned the video: “HUGE Adele fan!! This is GENIUS!!! Thank u @adele and @jkcorden #Ilovemyspicegirls” and instead of signing it off with her usual “X vb,” she wrote, “X posh [sic]”
That’s right, she called herself ‘Posh’, permission to fangirl.
