Carrie Fisher tributes out in force at Women's March
Carrie Fisher was an unapologetic feminist icon, so it's no surprise that tributes to the late actress were out in, well, force at yesterday's (January 21) Women's March in the US.
As women across the States went out to make their voices heard, a galaxy-sized collection of signs and banners paying tribute to Carrie and General Leia Organa marched along with them.
As well as paying tribute to Carrie's (and Leia's) strength, protesters' artwork was full of kick-ass wordplay and general advice to live by.

"Keep Calm and Carrie On", "Don't Leia hand on my health care" and "We are the resistance" banners all made an appearance, but our personal favourite has to be "The Fempire Strikes Back".
But we're not the only ones loving the Carrie content at the Women's March – Fisher's long-time friend and Star Wars colleague Mark Hamill enjoyed her role in the event too.
