Cars Buried in Snow as Nor'easter Buffets Staten Island

A major winter storm hit New York City on Sunday, January 31, with the National Weather Service saying up to two feet of snow could be expected by Tuesday.

The NWS said, “When the power goes out in winter, the cold can be deadly,” and issued advice on staying warm during power outages.
