Cars were set alight and stores vandalized after Paris Saint-Germain fans took to the city’s streets amid a heavy police presence following the team’s Champions League final loss on August 23.
Local media reported that 148 people were arrested in Paris as fans set cars on fire and clashed with officers following PSG’s defeat to Bayern Munich. The late-night incidents centered on the Champs-Elysees, where shops were vandalized.
