Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz will undergo additional tests on his hand after he briefly left Sunday’s 17-9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
The 26-year-old entered the medical tent on the sideline in the third quarter before heading back to the locker room moments later. That caused a fair amount of concern among Philly fans — especially with the team already without wideouts Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor along with running back Jordan Howard. X-rays on Wentz’s hand were reportedly negative.

Unfortunately, Wentz’s return didn’t do much to help the Eagles. Already down 17-3 to Seattle, Philadelphia turned the ball over after tight end Dallas Goedert fumbled on a 14-yard catch.
The QB finished the 17-9 loss with 256 yards on 33-for-45 passing with one touchdown, three fumbles and two interceptions. He was booed by Eagles fans during the game, but refused to blame his performance on the injury.
