A Love Island fan favourite is set to make its return tonight as a stay at Casa Amor is back on the cards.

The ITV2 dating show is known for stirring up trouble between contestants by bringing in satellite villa Casa Amor midway through each series, and this season's controversies are set to begin in Sunday's episode.

Female islanders will be sent on a few days away to the alternate villa, where they'll be joined by a cast of six new bombshell men who will try to tempt them away from their current partners.

But the male islanders won't be sitting around pining for their return to the main villa, as they will also be joined by six new women.

The Casa Amor week is notorious for leading to cheating, arguments, recouplings, and no end of drama around the firepit when the group comes back together as a whole and islanders must choose who to be partnered with.

Bombshells arriving this year include Layla Al-Momani, whose ex boyfriend is singer Conor Maynard.

She said: "My ex is a famous singer. He wrote a few songs about me since we broke up."

Every male bombshell entering the show this week has named current contestant Samie Elishi as being their type, potentially leading to some awkward scenes when they arrive.

Other bombshells include professional boxer Frankie Davey, singer Lynda Flix, social worker Sanam Harrinanan, and Martin Akinola who is friends with last season contestant Dami Hope.

There are a total of 12 bombshells set to join the show, making things much busier over the coming days.

Any new arrivals who want to get a place in the main villa will first need to convince one of the current cast to drop their partner and recouple at the end of the Casa Amor stay.

Viewers saw Ellie Spence and Jordan Odofin dumped from the villa on Friday night when the couple were voted out after forming a friendship alliance.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
