Casualties Reported as Train Collides With Truck and Derails in Northern Italy

At least two people were killed and 20 others injured after a train collided with a truck and derailed in Caluso, Italy, late on May 23, local reports said.

The National Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation said the collision caused three cars to derail at around 11.30 pm, trapping several people inside.

The train driver and a technician were among the dead, with three people reported to be in a critical condition, La Repubblica said.
