Yahoo News Casualty casts The Durrells star Anna Savva as Rosa's mum Xiomara
Casualty has cast The Durrells actress Anna Savva in the role of Rosa's mother, Xiomara.
The actress, who played the role of Lugaretzia on the ITV series, confirmed that she was joining the BBC soap on Twitter.
"Excited to be joining Casualty definitely more glamorous than Lugaretzia in The Durrells," she wrote.

The arrival comes this week as Rosa and David pretend to be in a relationship, all for Xiomara's sake, though David will get quite the shock when Rosa's mother arrives at the hospital a day early.
"She is absolutely fabulous – but she's very meddlesome," Rosa actress Jacey Sallés told Inside Soap of her on-screen mum.
"She's very much a lady on a mission, she's coming to Holby to see if she can get Rosa's relationship with David on a more permanent footing…"
Jacey added: "Xiomara puts quite a bit of pressure on David – and she's not beyond being deceitful! She gets on fabulously with David's son, Ollie, and they end up conspiring together to make Rosa and David's relationship more official."
Casualty airs on Saturdays on BBC One.
