A person had to be cut free from an overturned car on the A34 last night.

Emergency services went to the scene between Hinksey Hill and Botley Interchanges just before midnight.

Crews from Rewley Road Fire Station cut one person free from this overturned vehicle.

Using hydraulic cutting equipment they were able to cut away the window to allow the door to be opened and the occupant released.

Crews from Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service helped to make the incident safe and take care of the casualty.
