Casualty's Ethan Hardy has been single for a while now, but his dating woes might be coming to an end as the show has lined up a new romance for him.

In an upcoming episode, we'll see Ethan complain to Will about being rejected yet again when he meets an attractive young woman called Fenisha, who will flirt outrageously with him by the vending machines.

After talking about it with a patient who has been recently dumped, Ethan will head to the pub with Will... who eventually ditches Ethan because he's off on a date himself.

But then, who will walk in? None other than Fenisha. The pair are going to flirt outrageously even more, before heading home together.

Last year, Ethan was romantically involved with a woman named Effie.

Before that storyline kicked off, actor George Rainsford said: "That's the trouble with Casualty – they don't want you to be happy for long with that kind of thing."

Of course, his relationship with Effie only lasted a few months, so let's hope this thing with Fenisha lasts a bit longer.

Although, if they're jumping into bed on their second meeting, it looks like there's definitely sparks, but with things moving so fast, let's see how this one goes.

Ethan returned to the ED last weekend.

At first things were tense between him and Rash following Mason's death, but eventually they worked out their differences after working together to deal with a patient.

Casualty airs on BBC One.
