Cat Deeley reveals This Morning support from Holly Willoughby
Cat Deeley has revealed she received support for joining This Morning from predecessor Holly Willoughby.
The presenter recently returned from summer holiday alongside Ben Shephard as the two main presenters of ITV's daytime show, having replaced Holly and Phillip Schofield on This Morning in February.
Speaking to The Times, Cat revealed that Holly had graciously reached out to her when she accepted the This Morning job.
"Holly sent me a beautiful bunch of flowers and a handwritten card. It was a really classy move, it really touched me," Cat told the outlet.
While the pair have yet to meet up face-to-face, Cat is hopeful that they'll be able to see each other in the near future.

"At some stage, once the dust settles, I’m sure we will get together," she predicted. "People always talk about women being pitted against other women but actually it’s just not true."
Holly announced last October that she was stepping down from her job at This Morning after 14 years as a co-host on the show.
"I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning," she wrote on Instagram. "To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so much.
"This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we've done together," she went on. "Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive.

"To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you. Most of all, thank you to the wonderful viewers. You've been so loyal, so supportive and the very best company every day."
Holly stepped away from the spotlight following her exit from This Morning but returned to ITV1 earlier this year to present Dancing on Ice.
She will next team up with Stephen Mulhern once again to present ITV's primetime reimagining of the classic game show You Bet!, which originally aired on the channel between 1988 and 1997.
This Morning airs Mondays through Fridays on ITV1.
