The National Weather Service (NWS) reported record-low temperatures for parts of Washington state after heavy snow fell on Sunday, December 26.
This footage, filmed by Tatyana Makarova, shows an excited cat exploring the freshly fallen snow in Kirkland, a city within the Seattle metropolitan area.
