This Cat Is Not Happy At Having His Head In A Cone

There can’t be anything much more humiliating in life than having your head stuffed in a cone and your picture taken for the world to laugh at.

Unfortunately for Persian cat Albert Eisenhower Smith, that is exactly what he had had to endure.

The two-year-old moggy is clearly not having the best of times, his eyes and grimacing face telling a very detailed story all by themselves.

Being a cat, you’d think he got his head stuck in there by accident but actually the cone was deliberately put on for his own good.

Christy Howell, who took the photo of her friend’s cat, explained to Buzzfeed: “He had a cyst on his leg that they had to remove so they shaved him for surgery.

“His owner was nervous about him pulling the stitches so she got him a cone.

“As you can tell Albert wasn’t a happy kitty.”

The cone is now, thankfully off Albert head, but he still has to wear a camouflage outfit to stop him licking or biting his stitches.

His hilarious expression was obviously jumped on by Photoshop experts, who plastered it all over the Internet - here’s a few of the best:
