Cat Relishes Snow Day in Southeast England

It was a cold start for southeast England on February 8 as the Met Office issued an amber warning for snow and ice.

Storm Darcy, dubbed the “Beast from the East 2,” brought cold air from Russia and Eastern Europe to the UK on Sunday.

Conservative councilor Claire Pearsall captured this clip of Tango the cat in the snow in New Ash Green, Kent.

The Met Office warned of cold temperatures from a “biting” easterly wind on Monday.

“You’ll need to wrap up if you’re stepping outside this afternoon,” Pearsall wrote on Twitter. Credit: Claire Pearsall via Storyful
