EU chief says reckless Brexiteers deserve ‘special place in hell’

Donald Tusk has said that Brexiteers who campaigned for Leave but had no plan for the UK’s departure from the EU deserve a ‘special place in hell’.

The European Council president was met with immediate criticism from Eurosceptics, who accused him of insulting British Leave voters.

However, an EU spokesperson insisted that Mr Tusk was referring only to prominent Brexit campaigners and not to members of the public.

Meghan Markle told her father to stop ‘victimising her’

Meghan Markle sent a letter to her estranged father asking him to stop ‘victimising’ her in public, it has been claimed.

The astonishing revelations come amid reports that, far from trying to heal the wounds with his daughter, Mr Markle has made no effort to contact the Duchess of Sussex to try and heal their rift.

The US president, who has repeatedly criticised the military alliance, will meet with heads of state in London, Nato secretary general Jens Stoltenberg announced.

Mr Trump visited the UK for the first time last July and was met with huge protests across the country.

Fraudster performed operations in Romania posing as British plastic surgeon

An Italian man who posed as a British plastic surgeon and performed operations has been seized by police.

Matteo Politi faked his identity as a UK surgeon named Matthew Mode and gave lectures to trainees, despite having no medical background.

Politi, 38, who was reportedly convicted of identity theft in 2011 before moving to Romania, operated at four private hospitals in Bucharest before being caught out.
