Cats go viral after attempting to get into Japanese museum for two years
A pair of cats have gone viral after attempting to get into the Hiroshima Onomichi City Museum for over two years.
The two animals started trying to get into the Japanese museum in 2016 after it held a cat exhibition.
Security guards repeatedly have to shoo the animals away as they continue to make attempts to enter the premises.
Hilarious video footage shows the guards having to out-smart the animals and deny them access.

Many people on Twitter shared their love of the animals and suggested they should be allowed inside.
These two cats visit the museum almost everyday, I feel like they are enjoying playing with the staffs. And the museum even made souvenirs of the two cats. They are kind like some sort of arte de performance nowadays. 😂

Pete Hewitt said: "I admire how gently and respectfully they are treating them, but those cats should have forever homes."
Oh my gosh. I would say let them in, but knowing a cat, it’ll just go in and immediately knock a sculpture off a pedestal hahaha

Let them in. They will become famous, bring in tourists and donations and keep all mice out! Come on!

The museum has now capitalised on the cats and even come up with their own cat merchandise.
