This was the moment a man was caught short on camera during a live television broadcast from Cheltenham Festival.

Cameras caught the culprit from the ITV racing studio while guests previewed Friday afternoon’s coverage of the races.

Images show a grey haired man in a green fleece and jeans appearing on screen through a glass wall at the back of the studio.

There appears to be a puddle of urine around his feet, which trickles away from the lorry and across the car park.

Guest talking on ITV Racing: The Opening Show, which airs at 9.30am, continued chatting, seemingly oblivious to what was going on behind them.

Although this incident doesn’t appear to be alcohol related, it comes a year after the festival was marred by drunken revellers.

A group of race goers including an MK Dons footballer who allegedly urinated into a beer glass were barred from the 2016 Cheltenham Festival.

This year alcohol restrictions have been imposed on visitors in a bid to stop rowdy behaviour.
