CBB 2016: Will Jeremy McConnell Miss Tonight’s Final Due To Illness?

Jeremy McConnell had to cancel a television appearance due to illness on the day of the Celebrity Big Brother final.

The former housemate was due to speak on ITV’s This Morning alongside Gemma Collins, however host Ruth Langsford informed viewers: “I’ve just heard in my ear that Jeremy’s not coming as he’s got the flu.”

Just last night the 25-year old Irish model was out partying in Newcastle as he confirmed on Twitter: “Having a drink for the finalists tonight in Newcastle so proud of all of them all. Hope Steph can do it I’m so excited for her. xxx”

This caused some scepticism in the air as Rylan confirmed: “He’s been a bit ill. But I can neither confirm nor deny whether it’s drink related.”

Before you get too emotional over the prospect of not seeing Jephanie reunite outside the Borehamwood bungalow tonight, Jezza has in fact revealed that he will be waiting for Stephanie Davis with open arms.

Speaking to Daily Star Online, he silenced critics and reassured fans: “I will be there tonight and I’m dying to see her. I love her.”

Did he just drop the L-bomb again?

The Irishman added: “She deserves to win and is a beautiful, smart girl. I have a room ready in the hotel after the show to spend some time with her.”

But will he be cosying up with the winner?

Megan McKenna, who stepped in for Jeremy on the morning show, placed her bets on Scotty T for the win, though admitted that she’s also rooting for Danniella Westbrook too.

Gemma Collins supported her CBB BFF Danniella, believing that she deserves to win because of how far she has come with her confidence inside the house.

However, over the weeks Stephanie has managed to turn a sufficient amount of boo’s into cheers from the crowd and she is now the third favourite to win with odds of 10/1.

The Celebrity Big Brother final kicks off at 9pm tonight on Channel 5 – you’re not going to want to miss it!
