Stephanie Davis has released a new music track and before you cringe, it's actually quite good.

The former Hollyoaks and Celebrity Big Brother star unveiled the slick dance track 'Missin' with a post on Twitter yesterday: "Started a new sound cloud(sic). Songs to upload soon. Enjoy."

"I've loved writing my own music since a young age with lyrics that are relatable. Playing piano chords a bit, working with beats and being creative. Music, is my love," she wrote on the Soundcloud account.

"Not updated but here are a few songs I wrote a while back which are now perhaps a bit dated and need refreshing. Lots more to come."

Fans have assumed that the track – which contains lyrics like "my precious baby, we weren't meant to be" – is about her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell.

You may not remember, but way before Jeremy came onto the scene, Stephanie appeared on BBC talent show Over the Rainbow, when she was the fifth person voted off in Andrew Lloyd Webber's search to find a Dorothy for a production of The Wizard of Oz.

Last month, it was reported that Jeremy was apparently axed from Ex on the Beach, following Stephanie shooting down rumours that she'd appear on the MTV show.

Stephanie gave birth to baby son Caben-Albi George in January, with Jeremy eventually confirming that he was Caben-Albi's father after a DNA test.
