CCTV appeal after burglar targets Erdington home in night raid

Police have issued the image of a man they would like to speak to after a night time break-in at a Birmingham property. The burglary took place in Ryland Road in Erdington, off Wheelwright Road on Wednesday, May 1.

A thief broke into the home overnight and stole a number of valuables, including a laptop computer, cash and bank cards. Now West Midlands Police has issued the image of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with the raid.

The man is of Asian appearance with a moustache and is wearing a grey/green hooded coat with the hood up over a black cap. Police are urging anyone who recognises him to come forward.

In issuing the appeal, a spokesperson for west Midlands Police said: “We want to speak to this man following a burglary in Erdington. Items including a laptop, cash and bank cards were stolen from a home in Ryland Road overnight on 1 May.
