CCTV appeal after man left with head injury after 'six-on-one attack' outside vape shop on Boxing Day
Police have issued an appeal for information after a man was badly hurt in a Boxing Day attack. Officers say 'six men' were involved in the serious assault.
The victim, a man in his 30s, suffered a serious head injury outside a vape shop in Oswestry on Thursday, December 26. It took place outside Oswestry Vapes, on Albion Hill in the town at around 10pm, police say.
The group of men involved were believed to have been in The George pub shortly before the incident. Today, Tuesday, January 14, officers have issued a CCTV image of two men they believe may be able to help with their enquiries.

They urged anyone with information on the men to get in touch. The full appeal read: "Officers investigating a serious assault in Oswestry on Boxing Day have released CCTV images of two men who they believe can help with their enquiries. The assault took place on Albion Hill in the town, outside Oswestry Vapes on Thursday 26 December, 2024 at around 10pm.
"Six men assaulted a man, aged in his 30s, leaving him with a serious head injury, which required hospital treatment. The group of men were in The George public house shortly before the assault took place.
"Following enquiries, detectives are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the two men in the CCTV images, as they believe they were in the area at the time of the assault, and can help with their investigation.
